Two environmental drill rigs were recently acquired by SynergyAspen. The drill rigs would be offered and dedicated to our clients, either under SynergyAspen or a subsidiary of SynergyAspen. Since the availability of drill rigs is limited in our industry, SynergyAspen’s drill rigs are priced below current market value. We have reduced the total number of workers from four (two from an environmental consulting company and two from a drilling company) to a total of three workers. This will ensure our clients have access to one or more environmental drill rigs when they need one.

Our second drill rig, BB2 is nearing completion. The mast attached to full-size skid steer, which can be used for other tasks, such as clearing snow, bush mulching, etc. Like his older sibling BB1, the intent for our second drill rig is to provide value and cost savings to our clients

BB1 is is a Ramrod model 1350 pro series with a custom made mast from Ridgeline Equipment.

The Drill Rig is Multi-Purpose: Tt can drill sites that are accessible by road or by helicopter
Depth Capability: +10m with 6” diameter solid stem augers (4” diameter augers also available)
Pull-Up: 11,000lbs
Road Access: Transported by trailer towed by a 1 ton truck
Heli-Portable: Two lifts
Our drilling rate includes the driller
Typical cost savings for our clients is greater than $1k/day

Completed Upgrades:

The new “box mast” is stronger and lighter compared to our former mast
The center of drilling was moved 14” towards the power unit
The mast can be vertically elevated by ~14” and tilted backwards
The above items improved the center of gravity and mobility of the unit
Rotational torque increased from 1,500lbs to 3,500lbs
