Daniel Gorsic, leader of the SynergyAspen team, began his environmental science career in 1994. Mr. Gorsic is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in Chemistry and Environmental Resource Studies and is also a member of the Association of Professional Chemists of British Columbia.
Daniel founded Synergy Environmental Strategies Inc. in 2007 and subsequently merged Synergy with Aspen Environmental in 2012 to form SynergyAspen Environmental Inc. He is tasked with leading and developing the company in British Columbia and beyond.
He is an avid tennis player and was a member of the volunteer fire department.
Patricia Stebbing has earned her reputation as a dynamic leader in the environmental consulting industry, climbing the ranks from field assistant to Account Manager and now Operations Manager, by consistently delivering exceptional results and innovative solutions. With over a decade of experience and a proven track record of success, Patricia oversees a diverse portfolio of reclamation and contaminated sites projects, guiding them from start to finish. Her expertise spans historical file reviews, Stage 1 and 2 preliminary site investigations, detailed site investigations, groundwater assessments, spill cleanups, remediations, and more—ensuring clients receive cost-effective, practical solutions that meet their regulatory goals while protecting the planet.
As Operations Manager, Patricia embodies SynergyAspen’s core values of innovation, excellence, teamwork, synergy, and safety. Known for her ability to navigate complexity and keep projects on track, she leads with the precision of a seasoned engineer and the adaptability of a mother of four. Whether it’s coordinating cross-functional teams or turning chaos into order during a tight deadline, Patricia leverages her organizational mastery and knack for problem-solving to ensure success for her clients and her team.
Her leadership style is equal parts strategic and supportive. She ensures her team has the tools, guidance, and confidence they need to excel in their roles while fostering an environment where careers flourish. Her clients trust her to deliver high-quality work, and her team values her steady presence, generosity, and wholeheartedness —whether it’s a pep talk before a big project or a perfectly timed pivot to tackle unexpected challenges.
Outside of work, Patricia is a champion multitasker, integrating life with her husband and four energetic kids. Her ability to manage everything from meal planning to project planning with grace has made her an expert at staying calm under pressure.

Tania Rauscher is a professional engineer and senior manager who started her contaminated sites investigation and remediation career in 2001. As SynergyAspen's Corporate Technical Services Lead, Tania is responsible for technical and field staff supervision and mentoring, overseeing training programs, design and implementation of Preferred Operating Procedures manual for field work, and ensuring SynergyAspen is kept current with regulatory changes.
Tania has extensive experience in all aspects of contaminated sites work and oversight for large scale investigation and remediation portfolios. Tania’s working experience has included a variety of clients, including the oil and gas sector, crown corporations, municipal, provincial and federal governments and private owners.
Tania enjoys travel, hiking and skiing as a member of the Wolverine Nordic and Mountain Society and practicing permaculture as part of her certification in Ecological Landscape Design.
Bret Detta has worked over 8 years in the private sector as an Accountant and Financial Analyst. Bret is responsible for managing both the Finance and FinOps departments, which oversee all financial aspects of the business. This includes financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, accounting processes, financial polices, supervision, and mentorship. Bret has a focus on transparency, communication, and accountability when it comes to building financial processes and policies.
Bret graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Bret was born and raised in the lower mainland his entire life. He enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and spending time with his friends and family.
Eunice Cheah has over 5 years of human resources and 8 years of administrative experience. She is responsible for managing all day-to-day human resources tasks, such as onboarding and offboarding employees, recruitment, benefits administration, policy management, full-cycle payroll administration, grant funding, and assisting the Executive Team with any miscellaneous human resource projects and initiatives. Additionally, Eunice manages the Health & Safety department as the H&S Lead, which involves ensuring compliance, overseeing the joint H&S committee, conducting safety audits, providing H&S training, and maintaining a safe work environment. She is also responsible for some administrative tasks in SynergyAspen, such as managing Deltek Ajera, organizing company events, stitching and sending reports to clients, and providing mentorship to the administrative team.
Eunice graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources and International Business. As of November 2024, she is also a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR).
Eunice was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and made Vancouver her home in 2007. She enjoys watching movies, baking and going for hikes with her dog.
Robin Ganderton has had success in his many different exciting jobs such as, mining projects all over the world, salvage diving, avid motorcycle rider, horse training, managed air tanker bases all over BC and Alberta, a backyard scientist and a very good electronics designer. He is fond of animals of all kinds.
Robin has been in the IT field for over forty years. From long distance terrestrial network to satellite networking, computer design, interface, and data management.
He specializes in network design and security and has built specialized micro-computer systems from the ground up, such as Computer vision, CAD/CAM, etc.
