Treatment Facilities for Hazardous Waste Soils

Hazardous Waste (HW) contaminated soil is regulated in BC under the Hazardous Waste Regulation. Although not a new concept, obtaining MoE approval to store and treat HW contaminated soils on site is not frequently used in our industry. 

SynergyAspen has obtained several approvals to store and treat HW contaminated soils at remote oil and gas sites. We remediated approximately 10,000 m3 of HW contaminated soil, saving our Clients over $500,000 compared to the cost of trucking the soil to a landfill for disposal.
